Overview
The Energy Audit Analyst will ensure sub-projects comply with energy performance requirements and provide advisory support on renewable energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on energy efficiency indicators and requirements under the UPBEE Programme.
- Contribute to the UPBEE Programme communication strategy and action plan.
- Advertise the UPBEE Programme at various events.
- Cooperate with final beneficiaries regarding sub-project preparation and provide guidelines.
- Organise meetings with municipal representatives.
- Provide in-depth advisory on improving energy performance and energy efficiency.
- Review application documents for verifying energy efficiency measures and compliance.
- Review existing operational characteristics of buildings, documentation, and management practice.
- Conduct analysis of existing energy performance, verify issued energy certificates and audit reports.
- Perform collection and analysis of data to determine total energy consumption and performance indicators.
- Prepare energy audit reports with recommendations and energy-saving action plans.
- Support municipalities in the procurement of energy audits.
- Issue energy certificates, if requested.
- Perform quality assurance and compliancy check for technical designs.
- Perform verification site visits to ensure sub-projects correspond with requirements and designs.
- Support in monitoring construction works.
- Provide substantial inputs to regular reporting.
- Provide technical advisory support to the Project Manager and project team members.
- Consult UPBEE Programme partners and final beneficiaries on technical and operational aspects for integrating renewable energy solutions.
Required Experience
Minimum 2 years (with Master’s degree) or 4 years (with Bachelor’s degree) of proven experience in conducting energy audit and other related areas.
Qualifications
Advanced university degree (Master’s degree or equivalent) in Energy Management/ Audit, Engineering or related field is required or A first-level university degree (Bachelor`s degree) in the areas mentioned above in combination with 2 additional years of qualifying experience can be accepted in lieu of Master’s degree.
