Overview

The role of Coordinator Cyber Strategy involves coordinating activities related to cyber strategy, outreach, and partnerships within the Cybercrime Directorate. The purpose is to facilitate the Directorate's efforts against cybercrime through collaboration and strategic planning.


Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and deliver daily and ad-hoc tasks pertaining to cyber strategy and cyber partnership.
  • Take charge of complex tasks requiring specialized expertise.
  • Oversee the quality, accuracy, and timeliness of work produced by assigned staff.
  • Prepare and deliver high-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
  • Identify staff development needs and contribute to capacity building.
  • Establish and manage internal and external cyber partnerships.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators to management.
  • Work closely with law enforcement agencies and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a point of contact for internal and external partners regarding cyber strategic policies and partnerships.
  • Provide timely and adequate responses to questions or advice sought by management, staff, or outside partners.
  • Perform any other related duty as required.
Required Experience

At least 5 years of experience in investigating cybercrime or cyber-enabled crime areas. Strong background experience and knowledge in international co-operation / law enforcement operations / investigations. Experience in development, delivery and management of projects focused on Organizational strategic and policy changes. Experience in staff supervision is highly desirable. Experience in establishing external outreach and partnerships, is highly desirable. Good working knowledge of ICT systems/digital forensics. Working knowledge of legal issues relating to cybercrime.

Qualifications

Three to four years’ completed education is required (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification level) in a relevant field. Higher degrees are desired.

Knowledge of another INTERPOL official language (Arabic, French or Spanish) would be an additional asset.
