This role contributes to the implementation, coordination, and operationalization of INTERPOL's Data Protection Management System, focusing on compliance monitoring, governance coordination, and engagement with stakeholders.
At least 5 years of progressively responsible professional experience in data protection, compliance, governance, information management, cybersecurity, or related fields. Experience supporting compliance oversight, governance monitoring, advisory activities, or risk management initiatives in complex environments. Experience working in an international, governmental, law enforcement, regulatory, or multinational environment would be considered an asset. Experience engaging with multiple stakeholders across jurisdictions and cultures is highly desirable. Exposure to emerging technologies, digital governance, or AI-related governance matters would be considered an advantage.
Three to four years of university degree in law, information governance, data protection, cybersecurity, information management, international public administration, or another relevant field. An advanced university degree would be considered as an asset. Relevant professional certifications in privacy, data protection, governance, risk, compliance, cybersecurity, or information management would be considered an asset.
