Overview

Provide critical support to the grant’s financial operations and compliance functions, ensuring strict adherence to donor requirements, financial reporting standards, and compliance frameworks.


Key Responsibilities
  • Grant budget preparation and reprogramming.
  • Treasury management including bank reconciliations, cash forecasts, and petty cash oversight.
  • Accounting processes: review payments, advances, cost recovery, and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
  • Financial reporting: BVAs, PU/DR, quarterly forecasts, reconciliations.
  • Risk management: identify compliance risks, follow up audit actions, support external audits.
  • Human resource supervision: oversee Finance Officers/Assistants, appraisals, timesheets.
  • Partnership management: sub‑recipient reviews, monitoring visits, compliance follow‑up, financial close‑outs, and capacity building.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in financial management/accounting.
  • Accounting experience: Minimum of 3 years working as an Accountant.
  • Experience with Global Fund financial reporting requirements is an advantage.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
