Engage a Communications Consultant on a retainer basis to deliver communications and knowledge products for the Crisis Anticipation and Risk Financing (CARF) Team.
Experience working with international NGOs, local NGOs, civil society organizations, donors, or government agencies, preferably in humanitarian, disaster risk reduction (DRR), climate adaptation, or development sector. Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with experience producing case studies, human-interest stories, articles, web content, press releases, knowledge products, and advocacy materials. Experience producing multimedia content, including short-form videos for social media and documentary-style video products. Experience in conducting interviews and writing web content for development or humanitarian organizations. Preferably with network of media contacts and a history of successful media outreach.
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Marketing, or other related fields.
