Overview
The intern will conduct outreach to inform clients of opportunities and services, and consolidate and organize data for programmatic evaluation and grant writing.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct client outreach regarding available services and opportunities, confirming client contact information
- Update changes in client information into relevant systems
- Provide support to clients in addressing barriers to self-sufficiency
- Consolidate and organize client service delivery data into appropriate spreadsheets and databases
- Track and casenote employment placements and progress, services, and other data in IRC’s database
- Assist with developing service opportunities for clients enrolled in new programming
- Assist Early Employment as needed, which could include researching potential job openings, conducting employment assessments, creating resumes and cover letters
- Transport to and assist with employment related activities
- Document activities in case files and provide other administrative support as appropriate
- Model appropriate workplace dress and manner
- Attend Volunteer/Intern Orientation
- Record hours and submit completed timesheet for each month via the IRC’s online Volunteer Dashboard
Qualifications
Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree or recent graduate
