Overview
Internship opportunity supporting the collection, organization, and systematization of information related to human rights cases and allegations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting the collection, organization and systematization of information related to allegations and cases handled under the Prevention and Protection workstream.
- Supporting the collection, systematization, analysis and synthesis of information related to allegations, cases and diverse situations concerning possible human rights violations.
- Assisting in the preparation of internal notes and analytical summaries based on collected information.
- Supporting the updating and maintenance of internal tracking tools and databases.
- Assisting in monitoring relevant developments related to prevention and protection trends and cases, as required.
- Performing other duties as requested by the supervisor, as appropriate
Required Experience
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience.
Qualifications
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).
