Overview

Internship supporting photographic and video documentation, selection, editing, and organization of visual materials for communication and outreach purposes.


Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the photographic and video documentation of events, activities and official engagements of the Office.
  • Assisting in the selection, editing and organization of photographic and visual materials.
  • Supporting the development of visual content for communication and outreach purposes.
  • Assisting in maintaining and organizing photo and video archives and related materials.
  • Supporting coordination related to public information and communication activities, as required.
  • Performing other duties as requested by the supervisor, as appropriate.
Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor’s level or equivalent).

Languages Required
Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required for the internship.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of English or another official United Nations language is an advantage.

Remuneration
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
