Overview

Responsible for managing and coordinating all area-based activities related to the ERL Project, including beneficiary identification, training, grant release, and team supervision.


Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinates the day-to-day implementation of project activities and the project team.
  • Works with the project team to identify eligible beneficiaries and ensure dissemination of project information.
  • Supervises Business Development Officers, reviews their workplans, and ensures quality of assessments and support.
  • Coordinates with committees to manage grievances and finalize beneficiary lists.
  • Supports committees by ensuring complete case files and documentation are available.
  • Assists in organizing training workshops for beneficiaries and coordinates logistics.
  • Supervises and coordinates the ERL project team at the area level.
  • Coordinates development of work plans for the team and organizes progress review meetings.
  • Finalizes list of beneficiaries based on training completion and approved business development plans.
  • Ensures development and implementation of individual beneficiary mentoring plans.
  • Maintains close link with the camp project committee through regular information sharing.
  • Coordinates with the project team at the field office to ensure beneficiaries receive grants.
  • Coordinates business mentoring visits and ensures documentation of observations and achievements.
  • Reviews progress against business plans and submits recommendations for follow-up actions or grant instalments.
  • Ensures complaints, appeals, risks, and safeguarding issues are documented and referred.
  • Prepares monthly project progress reports including achievements, figures, challenges, and risks.
  • Coordinates data collection, monitoring activities, and reporting.
  • Ensures project implementation is inclusive and accessible, integrating gender, disability, protection, and safeguarding considerations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience

At least five years of relevant experience in project management, livelihoods, microfinance, TVET and similar activities at community level, including at least 2 years’ experience in staff supervision, in development/ humanitarian programmes in governmental, non-governmental organizations is required.

Qualifications

University degree from an accredited institution in Business Administration, Development Studies, Economics, Project Management, livelihood, Microfinance or other related fields.

Remuneration
Monthly basic salary: 896.20 US$. Dependency allowances (if applicable). 30 days of Annual leave pro-rated to the duration of the contract where less than one year. 2.5 days of sick leave for each completed month of service. Maternity Leave, upon meeting eligibility requirements. 2 weeks paternity leave, upon meeting eligibility requirements.
