Overview
Support the scale-up of the UN System Mobility and Carpooling framework, enhancing legal, financial, operational, and contractual frameworks, and leading operations through engagement with OMTs and UN partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Support partnerships to align business processes, contractual frameworks, and digital transformation initiatives across mobility and carpooling services.
- Support collaboration across UN agencies, WFP country offices as well as internal and external stakeholders, leveraging knowledge of fleet operations, drivers, and vehicles.
- Support the optimization of business processes and digital transformation across mobility and carpooling services.
- Augment capacity building of WFP Country Offices to operationalize UN System Mobility, driving digital transformation in the field through passenger mobility and carpooling services.
- Engage OMTs in carpooling implementation by presenting the service to key stakeholders, setting up localized carpooling cost recoveries, supporting the signing of carpooling service agreements, and successfully launching the service.
- Monitor carpooling performance and KPIs and scale up best practices across operations.
- Create up-to-date reporting on carpooling efficiency gains, including environmental efficiencies, and service use and optimization.
Required Experience
At least 3 years of experience in working on complex, multilateral projects. Proven knowledge of mobility, fleet, and/or shared services. Experience supporting business, processes and digital service transformation and rollouts. Familiarity with UN systems and inter-agency coordination.
Qualifications
University degree in business administration, management, or international relations or similar field
