Overview
Consultancy to improve the usability, navigation, content discovery, visual design, and search experience of an existing Drupal portal.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the existing Drupal site structure, content types, navigation, page templates, and search experience.
- Conduct interviews, surveys, discussions, or workshops with relevant stakeholders.
- Propose improvements to the site structure, navigation, content hierarchy, and user journeys.
- Prepare low-fidelity and high-fidelity UI designs using Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar tools.
- Provide developer-ready design specifications, assets, annotations, and component states.
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional UI/UX design experience.
- Proven experience designing websites, portals, or digital platforms built with Drupal.
- Experience designing faceted search, full-text search, advanced filtering, or data discovery interfaces.
- Experience in preparing developer-ready design handover packages.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Interaction Design or User Experience Design; Graphic Design or Visual Communication; Human-Computer Interaction (HCI); Computer Science or Information Technology with a design focus; Digital Media or Multimedia Design; Web Design or Digital Communications; or, Information Architecture.
- A Master's degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI); User Experience Design; or, Information Systems is desirable.
