The intern will support communications, outreach, and digital content production related to the implementation of the Pact for the Future and its annexes.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher such as Master's degree or equivalent, Ph.D. or post-graduate degree); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent). A field of study in communications, journalism, digital media, international relations, public policy, sustainable development, political science, data visualization or another relevant field is desirable. Knowledge of standard software applications, especially Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams is desirable. Knowledge in creating visual communications products is desirable. Knowledge of video editing, motion graphics, animation or multimedia production is desirable. Ability to draft clear and concise public-facing communications products is desirable. Knowledge using design or multimedia tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Canva or similar platforms is desirable. Knowledge in using Microsoft PowerPoint and/or ThinkCell to prepare clear and visually engaging presentations is desirable. Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Flourish, Tableau, Infogram, Power BI, D3.js or similar platforms is desirable. Familiarity with content management systems, including Drupal, or basic HTML/CSS is desirable. Ability to conduct research and monitor policy developments is desirable. Knowledge of the United Nations system, the Pact for the Future, the Global Digital Compact, the Declaration on Future Generations or related multilateral processes is desirable.
