Overview
The Offline Membership Acquisition Manager is responsible for raising funds from the public by building unrestricted income from individual donors, focusing on promoting campaign goals and expanding the membership base through Face-to-Face Fundraising techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide vision and leadership for the offline membership acquisition program through Face-to-face (F2F) channel.
- Manage the offline membership acquisition program, define expectations, provide leadership and technical support, and evaluate direct reports.
- Drive the evolution of the offline acquisition program by identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop relationships and implement strategies to integrate F2F Agencies into Save the Children Indonesia.
- Control and monitor offline membership acquisition fundraising activities for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Remain up to date on face-to-face or offline fundraising acquisition strategies and maintain focus on best performing target groups.
- Be responsible for offline membership acquisition annual planning and budgeting, adjusting strategies to meet Key Performance Indicators.
- Lead the field of fundraising and philanthropy, monitoring trends.
- Manage relationships with external F2F Agencies to ensure high quality delivery and secure future capacity.
- Ensure all offline acquisition communication material and products support agency objectives.
- Support F2F agency performance by providing and organizing fundraising and program training.
- Negotiate agency contracts to preserve the organization's interests.
- Work with agency partners in the preparation of campaigns, including providing marketing materials and fundraiser training.
- Monitor and influence key campaign metrics, including acquisition rates, income, cost, and ROI.
- Prepare reports and forecasts for the program periodically.
- Track and present results, making recommendations based on detailed analysis.
- Proactively seek new agency partnerships.
- Ensure campaigns are fully reviewed, prepare internal reporting, and use lessons learned for future campaign strategy.
- Ensure measures are in place to monitor and control the quality of KPA members signed.
- Oversee the timely and accurate deliverable for all offline membership acquisition operation reports, results reporting, and agency payment schemes.
- Manage mystery shopping programs for agencies.
- Work with the Resource Mobilization team to ensure a multi-channel approach is implemented.
- Provide other useful reporting and insights such as offline performance and demographic analysis.
- Liaise with Database and Finance departments for necessary bank information and other related matters.
- Represent and promote Save the Children, building and strengthening relationships with agencies, donors, funders, prospects, and the media.
- Infuse the culture of fundraising into all Save the Children’s activities.
- Provide weekly and monthly reporting by the team to the Senior Resource Mobilization Manager.
- Incorporate staff development strategies and Performance Management Systems into team building.
- Lead and manage Offline Membership Support Officer and Administration.
- Participate in cross-functional working groups as required and contribute to Global KPIs and those agreed with ILT.
- Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Required Experience
At least 4 years’ management experience in leading successful National Face-to-Face Fundraising teams within charity or at a fundraising agency.
Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing or any other area.
