Overview
Assists in identifying outreach activities, sourcing candidates, and managing recruitment processes for various staff categories and consultants. Provides support to staff and applicants, maintains tracking systems, and drafts HR correspondence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists in identifying outreach activities and sourcing candidates through various channels.
- Manages job postings and social media to target candidates.
- Drafts and posts vacancy notices and screening questions.
- Generates preliminary screening of applicants and prepares spreadsheets for review.
- Arranges interviews and testing, prepares recruitment panel files, and monitors testing.
- Conducts reference searches and enters candidate profiles.
- Initiates preliminary selection panel reports and prepares selection background.
- Provides assistance and information to staff members and applicants.
- Liaises with the Global Service Centre on staffing cases, entitlements, and benefits.
- Maintains an up-dated tracking system and databases for HR cases.
- Drafts reports and formal HR correspondence.
- Organizes meetings, teleconferences, and selection panels.
- Acts as a focal point for administrative questions.
- Liaises with different Clusters within WHO for information sharing.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in HR or administrative work. Two years' recent experience in a WHO or UN administrative division, preferably in Human Resources, is desirable.
Qualifications
Completion of secondary school supplemented by training in administrative/HR work. Additional relevant higher education is desirable.
