Overview

The Information Systems Security Analyst is responsible for maintaining security systems, monitoring for suspicious activity, conducting incident management, and staying updated on IT security trends to prevent compromises.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in Security Operations Center (SOC) activities and on-call duties.
  • Monitor computer security risks and network events to identify security incidents.
  • Respond to IT security incidents, perform investigations, and restore system operations.
  • Analyze threats and indicators of compromise.
  • Maintain, configure, and fine-tune IT security tools.
  • Perform SIEM implementation and management.
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Execute security audits, assessments, and penetration tests.
Required Experience

At least three years of experience in the IT security field is required. Preferably having already worked in a Security Operations Center (SOC).

Qualifications

Three-to-four years’ education at a University or other specialized higher education establishment, in the field of software engineering, computer science, information technology, information security, mathematics, engineering or a related field preferred. One or more internationally recognized IT Security Certifications (CISM, CISSP, CEH, etc.)

Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Languages Preferred
Proficiency in another official working language of the Organization (French, Arabic, and Spanish) would be an additional asset.
