Internship opportunity in Conference Services to support intergovernmental meetings, digital solutions, operations analytics, accessibility, and knowledge management.


Key Responsibilities
  • Co-deliver logistical, procedural, and operational workflows for high-level UN Headquarters intergovernmental meetings.
  • Drive digital service implementation and sustainable meeting servicing support through electronic distribution of official documentation.
  • Execute data collection, performance analysis, and operational reporting to evaluate meeting service delivery.
  • Support the UN Accessibility Centre in advancing inclusive meeting environments.
  • Standardize unit operations through the creation and maintenance of core operational guidelines and training documentation.
  • Performing other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience

No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Programme.

Qualifications

Applicants must: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or, (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent).

Languages Required
Fluency (oral and written) in English is required.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage.

Remuneration
The United Nations does not financially remunerate interns. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation, and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
