Overview
Transport NRC staff, visitors, documents and goods/materials to designated destinations. Ensure the safety and security of passengers, goods and the vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the logbook for all trips and ensure that all movements are registered accurately using the needed tools such as EFS (E-Fleet system) and the tablets.
- Cover responsibilities on daily basis as per the duty roster which includes covering the camps Band C duty shifts.
- Maintain the vehicle in proper operating condition at all times, including keeping the vehicle clean, ensuring enough fuel, checking the technical state etc and report any issues found directly to the LM.
- In liaison with the line manager, arrange for repairs and servicing
- Ensure the assigned vehicle has all the necessary documents and equipment
- Provide logistical support during trainings and workshops
- Liaise with field logistics and programme staff to ensure covering NRC operations in smooth way, and to support the logistics and other departments in loading/off-loading materials when needed.
Required Experience
Experience in driving and vehicle maintenance. Experience in using EFS (E-Fleet system) and tablets.
