Overview

This internship provides assistance to the Multilateral Fund Secretariat with research on servicing sectors and non-investment related components from KIPs/HPMPs projects.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in designing a tool for populating and regularly updating information on servicing sectors and non-investment related components from KIPs/HPMPs projects.
  • Compile and analyse information from KIPs/HPMPs projects regarding refrigeration servicing sector activities, demonstration components, regulatory frameworks on controlled substances, and policies related to placing into market and control of RACHP equipment.
  • Other related work as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Experience

No working experience is required to apply for the United Nations Internship Program. A field of study that is closely related to the type of internship that you are applying for is required. Applicants must be a student in the final year of the first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), Master’s or Ph.D. Programme or equivalent, or have completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PH.D. Programme.

Qualifications

Applicants must, at the time of application, meet one of the following requirements: - Be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); - Be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's degree or equivalent); or - Have graduated with a university degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Policy, Sustainable Development, Political Science, Public Policy, International Relations, Data Science, or a related field.

Fluency in spoken and written English is required for the internship.
Languages Preferred
Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an advantage.

Remuneration
Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
