The role involves supporting the Social Policy (SP) team in the World Bank's Tunis office, focusing on the employment agenda in Tunisia. The consultant will act as a local focal point for employment and interact with government counterparts, the private sector, and development partners.
At least 8 years of experience relevant to employment-related issues, including labor market programs, employment services, economic inclusion, and labor mobility. Experience in private sector development is a plus. Experience in implementing activities, navigating complex administrations to deliver activities/projects, and designing activities. Experience in managing complex projects. Experience in writing reports, synthesis and/or policy notes. Experience with frameworks linking labor supply to demand with a sectoral lens is a plus. Knowledge and experience in WBG 5 priority sectors is a plus.
Master’s Degree in Public Policy, Economics, Labor, Public Administration or a closely related field.
