Overview
Support the IOM Development Fund in its mandate, work, and project cycle, focusing on project implementation, reporting, and proposal development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support liaison with IOM Country Offices regarding project implementation, financial status, and adherence to funding criteria.
- Review and edit financial and narrative reports in coordination with Country Offices.
- Review and edit project revisions, including duration and results, with Country and Regional Offices.
- Support the development of project proposals in coordination with Country and Regional Offices.
- Monitor active projects using PRIMA and by coordinating with IOM Country Offices.
- Assist with branding, outreach, and public relations activities, including preparing PR material.
- Assist with the revision and update of Fund information sheets, materials, and studies.
- Draft presentations and reports on the Fund.
Required Experience
- Less than two years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in report writing and review.
- Previous experience in an international environment is an asset.
- Experience in the production of leaflets, brochures and other PR material is an asset.
- Practical experience of how-to multi-task, prioritize and work independently.
Qualifications
- University degree in International Relations, International Affairs, Development Studies, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, Law, or any related discipline.
- Interns must be between 20 and 36 years old.
- Either enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent) or have graduated in the last 12 months.
