Protection Digitalization Program Officer

Overview

The Protection Digitalisation Program Officer will provide remote project management support to a critical digital transformation initiative aimed at modernizing the ICRC's Protection operations ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect inputs for main project management documentation.
• Support product management activities, including roadmap planning and backlog monitoring.
• Facilitate data quality checks and consolidation.
• Assist in maintaining roadmaps and data consolidation for reporting.
• Track risk and issues management reporting.
• Assist in capacity management activities.
• Support knowledge management by capturing lessons learned.
• Ensure an overall information-management structure is in place.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, workshops, and events.

Required Experience

3–5 years of experience in project or portfolio management support, preferably within large, complex, or international organizations. Experience supporting digital transformation, IT, or business change projects. Experience preparing and maintaining project documentation, plans, reports, risk and issue logs, decision logs, and governance materials. Experience supporting stakeholder engagement and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Good understanding of project management methodologies (PMI, PRINCE2, Agile, or equivalent), certification desirable. Knowledge of Agile delivery frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe or similar).
