Overview
Associate Project Officer to assist in the regular follow-up and monitoring of ongoing rehabilitation and construction activities for cultural heritage preservation and sustainable local tourism development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support in managing all project phases, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting.
- Provide support to the implementation of rehabilitation and construction works, including coordination and site supervision.
- Ensure regular follow up with contractors to update BoQs tables and ensure quality interventions.
- Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of executed works, and preparation of related documents and reports.
- Conduct regular field visits for site supervision, follow-up and management of ongoing works.
- Review contractors’ deliverables and reports, ensuring technical compliance.
- Anticipate difficulties and bottlenecks and address them proactively.
- Liaise with and facilitate information sharing amongst project partners, stakeholders and local authorities.
- Participate in technical and stakeholder meetings, and draft minutes of meeting, official correspondence.
- Support in administrative tasks and ensure proper project management, including reviewing budget records and invoices.
- Perform any other activities and tasks requested by the supervisor.
Required Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture, architectural conservation, structural engineering, cultural heritage rehabilitation or related fields.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in the field of architecture, civil or structural engineering, or a related field.
