Overview

The Driver (G-2) provides safe and reliable transportation services, ensuring compliance with local traffic regulations and UNICEF protocols. This temporary position supports the safe and effective implementation of UNICEF operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable driving services
• Perform routine vehicle care, maintenance, and preparation
• Utilize digital tools and tracking systems
• Document and report on trips
• Communicate and prepare for emergencies
• Support office operations during non-driving periods

Required Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of work experience as a driver, with a proven safe driving record. Experience in country-level humanitarian contexts, particularly in development settings, fragile environments, and humanitarian situations is required.

Qualifications

Secondary education is required, along with a valid driver's license and knowledge of local driving rules and regulations.
