Overview

This online volunteering assignment involves delivering digital literacy and SDG-focused classes to primary school students in rural China.


Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in online interviews and assessments as a volunteer team.
  • Watch online training videos and attend online training sessions.
  • Design and implement a 5–7 day camp activity plan, integrating provided teaching resources.
  • Form and execute 2-3 online training proposals approved by project staff.
  • Collect real-time activity stories and photos, and coordinate participants to complete feedback questionnaires.
  • Guide participants in designing and submitting at least three innovation proposals.
Required Experience
  • Familiarity with rural China’s communities and education is required.
  • Prior teaching, facilitation, summer camp or volunteer tutoring experience, plus education or STEM backgrounds, are highly preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, social media, and others).
