Overview

Support the regional office and countries in developing proposals for the Pandemic Fund and other donor entities, and strengthen collaboration with regional centres.


Key Responsibilities
  • Support the regional office and countries in developing proposals for the Pandemic Fund and other donor entities.
  • Strengthen collaboration with ASEAN and ACPHEED.
  • Assist in development of joint projects with the World Bank, ADB & other multilateral financing entities.
  • Coordinate with Regional Monitoring Mechanisms and Technical Working Groups.
  • Coordinate with SEAR and WPR WCO Country Focal Points and regional entities.
  • Develop Log Frameworks and monitoring templates and monitor project implementation.
  • Prepare project reports and other documents for compliance.
  • Report on programme management issues and risks and liaise for mitigation.
  • Coordinate visibility activities pertaining to the projects.
  • Coordinate evaluation activities to support organizational learning.
  • Provide support in managing WHO activities coordinated by SEARO and WPRO.
  • Perform any other related duties and submit an end of assignment report.
Required Experience

At least five (5) years of experience in programme management in health and/or development sector including two (2) years of international exposure.

Qualifications

University degree in Business Administration, Planning, Project Management, or Health/ Medical Sciences.

Expert knowledge of English.
Languages Preferred
Beginners knowledge of Any lang of SEA reg. Intermediate knowledge of WHO language.

Remuneration
Annual base salary starting at USD 71,335 (subject to mandatory deductions for pension contributions and health insurance, as applicable), a variable post adjustment, which reflects the cost of living in a particular duty station, and currently amounts to USD 1718 per month for the duty station indicated above. Other benefits include 30 days of annual leave, allowances for dependent family members, home leave, and an education grant for dependent children.
