Overview

Develops, delivers, and reviews specialized curricula and training modules for law enforcement, and implements and coordinates training programmes in accordance with INTERPOL's strategic framework.


Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, coordinate and implement capacity building activities and curricula aimed at bridging the gap between national and international policing capabilities.
  • Deliver the INTERPOL Policing Capabilities Programme (IPCP) for the four INTERPOL regions.
  • Assist in the design and development of capacity building operational exercises.
  • Provide advice to programmes across the Organization implementing training to ensure compliance with INTERPOL training standards.
  • Assist in the implementation, creation and updating of frameworks and guidelines for training quality assurance.
  • Help coordinate and, if required, deliver police training programmes designed and implemented by external training providers.
  • Conduct all activities in line with the CBT Frameworks for Human Rights and Gender Mainstreaming.
Required Experience
  • Prior experience in police work or related law enforcement responsibilities is a requirement.
  • At least three years learning management experience in the policing field within the Police Universities, Police Training Institutes and Academies.
  • Experience in conducting training, briefings, lectures using the most up-to-date audiovisual means is preferred.
Qualifications

• University degree or higher preferably in security-related field, adult Learning or learning management.

Working knowledge in Arabic and/or French and/or Spanish would be an additional asset.
