Tasks Summary
- Implements approved investment strategies for asset allocation and portfolio rebalancing.
- Monitors portfolio performance against investment objectives and benchmarks.
- Ensures compliance with OIM's investment and policy guidelines.
- Conducts portfolio reviews and presents findings.
- Assists in developing and executing quantitative investment strategies.
- Performs quantitative analysis on economic and capital market factors.
- Reviews and recommends improvements in quantitative investment methodologies and tools.
- Supports due diligence for external quantitative strategy portfolios.
- Integrates Sustainable Investing principles into investment considerations.
- Conducts portfolio analysis using risk and analytical tools.
- Supports reporting to senior management and governing bodies.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in quantitative investment analysis supporting quantitative investment strategies.
- Proven track record of seeking excess returns or generating absolute returns.
- In-depth understanding of quantitative investment modeling and strategy implementation.
- Minimum of three years of experience in quantitative analysis of asset allocation (desirable).
- Experience with in-house portfolio management in institutional investment managers or asset owners (desirable).
- Experience integrating ESG factors in portfolio decision making (desirable).
- Experience with financial modelling and programming languages such as Python, financial software and databases (desirable).
Qualification Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Master's or equivalent degree) in Business Admin. (MBA), Finance, Economics or related field is required.
- A first level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is desirable.
