Overview

Provide assistance to the Consultative Committee (CC) secretariat's daily activities and support the team's work.

Tasks Summary

• Provide support for routine Consultative Committee matters, including organizing meetings/events, following up on CC member prospects, coordinating matchmaking meetings, and monitoring CC members' activities.
• Perform traditional secretariat duties, including administering mail and e-mail correspondence, ensuring receipt of key information, preparing lists/tables/graphics, and requesting/gathering information.

Experience Requirements

• Work experience in an international environment would be an asset
• Knowledge of secretarial or administrative practices
• Experience in taking notes and in re-reading and editing documents would be desirable

Qualification Requirements

• STUDENTS
• Recent graduates in the areas described above (graduated within six months of the date of announcement)

Other Details

Languages Required: Excellent oral and written command of French or English (Advanced - UN level lll)

Languages Preferred: Ability to communicate in the other language (French or English) would be desirable (Intermediate - UN level ll) Knowledge of another UN language would be desirable (Intermediate - UN level ll)

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: The traineeship will be remunerated in accordance with current UPU Human Resources rules.
