Develop a National Food Control Policy (NFCP) for Eritrea, establishing a comprehensive, integrated approach across the food supply chain. The NFCP will align with international standards and consider Eritrea’s socio-economic context and legislative landscape.
Experience in food control systems, policy development, and public health is required. Experience in risk analysis, food safety governance, and stakeholder coordination is also relevant.
Advanced university degree from an institution recognized by the International Association of Universities (IAU)/UNESCO in Food Science, Public Health, Policy Development, or a related field. Consultants with a bachelor's degree need two additional years of relevant experience.
Contract Duration: 45 days on a WAE basis
