Overview

The Project Coordinator drives UN-Habitat’s urban recovery efforts in Gaza, ensuring effective coordination and implementation of emergency and early recovery interventions. The role contributes to restoring urban systems, addressing shelter needs, and laying groundwork for sustainable recovery.

Tasks Summary

• Act as primary focal point coordinating with implementing partners, local organizations, government counterparts, UN agencies and clusters for efficient project/programme implementation in Gaza.
• Represent the Project/agency in relevant meetings and foster strategic alliances.
• Manage contracts.

Experience Requirements

Experience in project management and coordination with stakeholders including implementing partners, local organizations, government counterparts, UN agencies and clusters.
