Internship supporting information management and digital forensics for human rights investigations.

Tasks Summary

• Assist with coordination of digital data/evidence collection, processing, analysis, review, preservation and open source investigation support for human rights investigations.
• Conduct research and analysis of technology trends and applications relating to digital data handling, archiving and open source investigation.
• Assist in developing online training materials and producing training modules.
• Provide expert support to commissions of inquiry, fact-finding missions and field presences.
• Facilitate implementation and deployment of investigative technical tools and infrastructure.
• Ensure digital forensic principles are applied to digital data and evidence handling.

Experience Requirements

Applicants are not required to have professional work experience.

Qualification Requirements

• Graduate or enrolled in a graduate school programme (Master's degree or equivalent).
• OR graduate or enrolled in the final academic year of a first-level university degree programme (Bachelor's degree or equivalent).
• Preferably in information and telecommunication technology, computer science, digital forensic science, data science, analytics, statistics, information management or a related field.
