Overview
Leads the Field Information Management and Technology Office and oversees IT projects and services in accordance with Agency strategy and policies.
Tasks Summary
- Leads Field Information Management and Technology Projects, including feasibility studies, requirement specifications, and budget estimates.
- Manages IT projects respecting scope, time, and resources.
- Oversees the provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support.
- Manages the Field Office Configuration Management Database and asset management.
- Leads the development and support of field office applications.
- Monitors the operation and performance of deployed information and communications technologies.
- Plans and oversees field IT infrastructure management and data center operations.
- Implements Information Security measures, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity.
- Provides leadership and work direction to IMT Department staff.
- Prepares and monitors Field IMT Office biennium budget and expenditures.
- Manages and coordinates collaboration with other United Nations agencies.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in leading Field Information Management and Technology Projects and Services.
- Experience in managing IT projects respecting scope, time, and resources.
- Experience in overseeing the provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support.
- Experience in managing IT infrastructure and data center operations.
- Experience in implementing Information Security measures, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity.
- Experience in managing and coordinating inter-agency collaboration in IT.
