Overview
This role oversees the identification, scale up, and institutionalization of innovative solutions to equip youth, particularly marginalized youth, with learning-to-earning solutions across education and employment sectors.
Tasks Summary
- Convene and nurture partnerships with government, private sector, CSO, youth, and philanthropic entities to advance skilling towards learning-to-earning solutions.
- Assess cross-sectoral landscape to identify opportunities for piloting, converging, and scaling solutions that advance learning to earning.
- Design, manage, monitor, and deliver programs focused on skilling, learning-to-earning solutions, and enhanced employment opportunities.
- Mobilize resources.
- Provide technical and operational support to program and policy landscapes.
- Build networks and partnerships.
- Drive innovation, knowledge management, and capacity building.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the design, planning, and implementation of educational programs.
- Preferably 2 years of leading large-scale, outcome-oriented learning-to-earnings and skilling programmes (particularly for women), with a focus on employment outcomes.
- Mandatory experience working with government officials at the senior leadership level.
- Experience in multi-stakeholder consultations, coordination, and partnership management.
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop content, manage, and deliver digital learning solutions at a large scale for programming.
- Proven expertise in establishing M&E frameworks and managing robust real-time dashboards for stakeholders.
- Substantial experience managing partnerships and policy conversations with central and state government ministries (MoLE, MSDE, MoE) at the senior level is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage large donor relationships, including proposal writing, budgeting, relationship management, and reporting.
Qualification Requirements
An advanced university degree in education, economics, psychology, sociology, or another relevant technical field.
