Overview

Supports project management activities and data administration within the Office of Supply Chain Management. Assists in tracking project progress, coordinating tasks, and developing presentations.


Tasks Summary
  • Supports project management activities, including planning, scheduling, documenting, and coordinating project tasks.
  • Assists in tracking project progress and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Leverages Agile Principles to analyze project tasks, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate weekly updates for key projects.
  • Develops and deliver presentations to communicate project updates and findings.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional divisions.
  • Translates data results into written reports, or presentations.
  • Prepares and update drafts of meeting agendas, document notes, and assign tasks.
  • Provides support in organizing meetings and events.
  • Supports team members with data cleaning and maintaining databases/data systems.
  • Creates simple data visualizations.
  • Has the ability to identify issues and develops solutions.
  • Has basic knowledge of Human Resources processes.
  • Has knowledge of advanced key business tools (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g. Microsoft SharePoint, PowerBI, Tableau, Visio).

Experience Requirements
  • No work experience is required.
  • Experience using Office 365 applications, including Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint for document management is required.
  • Experience in drafting reports, presentations, and presenting findings is desirable.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis and visualization is desirable.
  • Experience as an advanced Microsoft Excel user is desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision in a complex environment is an asset.

Qualification Requirements
  • be enrolled in a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
  • be enrolled in the final academic year of a university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent);
  • have graduated with a university degree (as defined above).
  • The preferred candidate would have a degree or pursuing studies preferably in the areas of Project Management, Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems Management, or a related field.

Contract Duration: 3-6 months

Work Modality: In person in New York or remote, full time or part time modalities would be considered
