- Transport staff and visitors to and from field locations
- Provide transportation support for field-related activities
- Ensure adherence to road safety regulations
- Oversee routine maintenance, servicing, and repair of vehicles
- Develop and manage preventive maintenance schedules
- Coordinate procurement of spare parts, tools, and consumables
- Provide hands-on mechanical troubleshooting and repair
- Assist with complex mechanical repairs
- Plan and manage transport schedule
- Support field teams in transporting drilling equipment and project materials
- Coordinate logistical support for field operations
- Ensure vehicles and equipment comply with safety regulations
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles and equipment
- Implement safety practices for fleet management
- Track fleet and equipment usage, maintaining accurate records
- Analyze fleet performance data
- Provide reports on fleet performance
- Monitor budget for fleet maintenance and repairs
- Prepare reports on fleet costs
- Forecast future resource needs
- Provide immediate support for emergency transport needs
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in fleet supervision and driving, vehicle maintenance, or mechanical repair
- Proven ability to handle both light and heavy vehicles
Qualification Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Certification in fleet or vehicle maintenance management is preferred
- Valid driver’s license (preferably for both light and heavy vehicles, including 4x4 and trucks)
- Certification in automotive or mechanical maintenance is highly desirable
