Overview
Provide technical and operational support to nutrition programmes and activities to contribute to quality delivery of nutritional needs of WFP beneficiaries in Somali Region.
Tasks Summary
- Organize field visits for nutrition activities
- Provide on-job training and supportive supervision to staff
- Identify implementation capacity gaps
- Make reports on gaps and corrective actions
- Contribute to nutrition training roll-out plans
- Participate in training health workers and WFP CPs
- Ensure timely sharing of nutrition reports
- Ensure accurate reflection of CPDR on COMET
- Contribute to analysis of nutrition data
- Monitor nutrition commodity release process
- Provide support to nutrition commodity distribution planning
- Consolidate nutrition commodity stock status
- Train and guide staff on compiling reports on food deliveries
- Follow up on action points from SO reports
- Support financial settlement processes
- Represent WFP in zonal level coordination meetings.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in nutrition programmes and activities
- Experience in complex operations in a complex environment.
