Overview

This internship aims to contribute to the responsibilities of the Office of the Chief of Staff, focusing on enhancing mission strategic and operational planning and information management.

Tasks Summary

• Support the preparation of draft plans for the next financial year, including the 2027-2028 Travel and Training Plan and RBB outputs and indicators.
• Compile information for the 2027-2028 draft plans and liaise with offices on potential adjustments.
• Assist with the collection and review of project reports for FY 2025-26 and produce a summary of achievements.
• Assist with the finalization of the annual performance report of RBB outputs and indicators, the SRSG’s Compact Performance Report, and the programmatic activities’ annual performance report.
• Assist with clearing backlog of Recommendations within the Comprehensive Planning and Performance Assessment System (CPAS) and monitor CPAS Impact and Outcome Indicators.
• Assist with the collection and disaggregation of data from programmatic activities and develop a monthly Power BI to display statistics.
• Assist with reviewing relevant guidelines and SOPs by performing background research.
• Perform any other tasks as directed by the Mission Planning Officer.

Languages Required: Fluency in English (oral and written)

Contract Duration: 3 months with the possibility of renewal for a further 3 months

Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated by the United Nations. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
