Support the monitoring and evaluation capacity of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and assist in coordinating proposed programme plans.
Applicants to the UN Internship Programme are not required to have professional work experience. A field of study in business administration, programme management, economics, political science, international relations, public administration, evaluation or a related field is required.
Languages Required: Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of an additional official UN language is an asset.
Contract Duration: Three (3) months, with an opportunity for extension up to a maximum of six (6) months.
Work Modality: In-person and full-time (35 hours), but can be adjusted based on request.
Remuneration: Interns are not financially remunerated. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
