Overview
Provide leadership and representation for the Nutrition Cluster in South Sudan, ensuring a coordinated and effective response by partners.
Tasks Summary
- Supervise the Cluster/ Sector/ Working Group coordination team
- Conduct needs assessment and analysis
- Develop strategic response plans
- Engage in resource mobilization and advocacy
- Oversee implementation and monitoring
- Ensure accountability to affected populations
- Strengthen national and local capacity
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in nutrition, public health, nutrition planning and management, or maternal, infant, and child health/nutrition care, preferably at the international level.
- Experience working in the humanitarian coordination system is required.
- Experience in humanitarian contexts is required.
- Experience in development contexts is an added advantage.
- Relevant experience in health/nutrition programme/project development and management in a UN system agency or organization is considered an asset.
Qualification Requirements
An advanced university degree in nutrition, public health, nutritional epidemiology, global/international health and nutrition, health/nutrition research, policy and/or management, health sciences, humanitarian assistance and development, or another health-related science field.
