Overview

Coordinate planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting for the country programme. Design and implement planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities to manage the Country Programme and adhere to organizational requirements.


Tasks Summary
  • Coordinate planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting functions for the country programme
  • Design and implement planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities
  • Produce monitoring tools and reports based on quality data
  • Coordinate implementation of planning methodologies and tools
  • Support the Country Office and national partners in developing an equity-focused, results-based Country Programme and rolling workplans
  • Provide technical guidance to the country office programme team in the preparation of management strategies
  • Lead the work planning process, as well as periodic reviews and adjustments
  • Ensure alignment of donor proposals with CPD and programme WP
  • Articulate and ensure consistency between CO programming, WP and response plans with HRP, HAC, and other ad hoc humanitarian resource mobilization plans
  • Ensure viable recommendations on programme implementation, alternative approaches, new programme initiatives and management strategies
  • Support the collection of SDG’s and other key social development indicators
  • Support partners in the establishment and management of national statistical databases
  • Develop a collective Situation Monitoring and Assessment system
  • Provide professional support for rapid assessments in humanitarian response situations

Experience Requirements

Experience in coordinating planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting functions. Experience in designing and implementing planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities. Experience in producing monitoring tools and reports. Experience in coordinating implementation of planning methodologies and tools. Experience in developing results-based Country Programmes and rolling workplans. Experience in providing technical guidance on management strategies. Experience in leading work planning processes and reviews. Experience in aligning donor proposals. Experience in articulating and ensuring consistency between programming and response plans. Experience in providing recommendations on programme implementation. Experience in supporting the collection of SDG’s and key social development indicators. Experience in supporting partners in establishing and managing national statistical databases. Experience in developing Situation Monitoring and Assessment systems. Experience in providing support for rapid assessments in humanitarian response situations.
