Overview
Provide engineering support for the construction of a canopy at the Fotehobod Customs post. Ensure construction works comply with UN standards, safety requirements, and local regulations.
Tasks Summary
- Prepare sketch, production, and detailed drawings using CAD equipment
- Observe, inspect, and monitor building work progress
- Prepare monitoring plans for implementation timing and quality
- Train contractors on work plans
- Advise contractors on material delivery and supervise labour
- Establish detailed programs for site activity coordination
- Prepare engineering calculations and quantities of materials
- Arrange material delivery times
- Supervise subcontractors to ensure acceptable standards and schedule adherence
- Inspect finished works for compliance with specifications and regulations
- Manage handover of finished hangar from Vendor to UNODC
- Supervise and monitor renovation progress through regular site visits
- Check accuracy of Works Acceptance Certificates
- Submit monitoring reports of progress and putting object into operation
- Submit final report on completed tasks and evaluation of works
- Provide reports in Russian according to schedule
Experience Requirements
A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in engineering, construction and architecture works is required
Qualification Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid (State) Certificate on Qualification to Conduct Engineering Works is required
- Valid (State) Certificate on Qualification to Conduct Building and Installation Work is required
- Formal qualifications or certifications from a recognized national or international educational institution in Civil Engineering, Construction or related field is required
