Overview
Provides administrative support within the UN Resident Coordination Office in Kuala Lumpur, reporting to the Head of the Resident Coordinator's Office. Supports the achievement of development priorities and SDGs.
Tasks Summary
- Manages human resource activities including recruitment, performance appraisal, and staff inquiries.
- Oversees budget preparation, expenditure monitoring, and financial reporting.
- Drafts correspondence, coordinates with service units, and performs other administrative duties.
- Guides and supervises junior staff.
- Assists with data collection, analysis, and presentation.
- Maintains filing systems and organizes meetings.
- Supports missions of UN officials and experts.
- Administers contracts with external contractors and processes payments.
- Prepares and processes UN forms and permissions.
Experience Requirements
Experience in human resources management, budget and finance, general administration, and contract administration.
