Overview

To deliver driving and administrative support for the smooth onboarding of the new HoD and provide occasional operational assistance.

Tasks Summary

• Safely drive Federation fleet vehicles for passengers and cargo
• Ensure proper use, security, cleaning, refuelling, and operational condition of vehicles
• Make correct log book entries and maintain records of spares, repairs, equipment, and fuel
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report to supervisor
• Obey traffic signs, rules, and regulations
• Perform necessary vehicle repairs (e.g., tyre changes, oil, batteries)
• Advise supervisor of needed vehicle maintenance
• Carry out pre-repairs and post-repairs inspections
• Follow up on monthly service repairs and generate reports
• Perform other technical duties as assigned

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5 years working experience in a similar position
• Working experience with international organisations, NGO or Embassy is highly desirable

Qualification Requirements

• Secondary level education
• Preferred tertiary education
• Valid South African driving license
• Valid certificate of good conduct
• Public Drivers' Permit
