Responsible for the end-to-end development of data projects, supporting IFRC's operations across multiple sectors. Operates on IFRC’s Data Platform using Microsoft Fabric and Synapse.
Tasks Summary
- Analyze business processes and data models
- Liaise with business contacts to understand requirements
- Identify and ingest missing data elements
- Design and implement Power BI dashboards and reports
- Follow through on User Acceptance Testing (UAT) issues
- Publish data and reports to production
- Develop database schemas and optimize performance
- Develop data products using SQL and PySpark
- Implement data quality checks and processes
- Implement security measures for data protection
- Optimize solutions for performance and scalability
