Overview
Manages and organizes all ICT systems and services in the assigned location. Assists the ICT Coordinator in designing and installing ICT infrastructure.
Tasks Summary
- Provide Level 2 ICT Service Request support and ensure compliance with Global ICT Support Model framework policies
- Enforce the use of the ICRC service portal for ICT requests and incident reporting
- Participate in planning, deployment, and maintenance of ICT systems (PABX, data networks, Radio systems, VSAT)
- Install, maintain, and repair IT hardware, infrastructure (LAN, SDWAN, wireless), and telecom (VHF, SAT phones, UC)
- Follow-up of ICT projects in the defined area of responsibilities
- Ensure existing ICT infrastructure is functional and performs regular quality control checks
- Exploit and adapt existing systems
- Implement and follow global and country-level policies and procedures
- Maintain tracking of ICT equipment allocations, conduct physical checks, and monitor shipments
- Ensure inventory is accurate, comprehensive, and reliable, and ICT stocks are adequately managed
- Collaborate with ICT team, suppliers, and service providers for service delivery
- Prepare for meetings by setting up rooms and materials, including technical set-up for conference calls, presentations, and video conferences
- Keep technical documentation up to date for all IT installations
- Brief new staff
Experience Requirements
- Experience in managing and organizing ICT systems and services
- Experience in designing and installing ICT infrastructure
- Experience in providing support for Level 2 ICT Service Requests
- Experience in enforcing the use of service portals for requests and incident reporting
- Experience in planning, deployment, and maintenance of ICT systems such as PABX, data networks, Radio systems (VHF & HF), VSAT
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing IT hardware, infrastructure (LAN, SDWAN, wireless), and telecom (VHF, SAT phones, and UC)
- Experience in following up ICT projects
- Experience in ensuring ICT infrastructure functionality and performing quality control checks

- Experience in managing ICT stocks and disposal plans for obsolete materials
- Experience in collaborating with ICT teams, suppliers, and service providers
- Experience in preparing for meetings and technical set-up for conference calls, presentations, and video conferences
- Experience in keeping technical documentation up to date
- Experience in briefing new staff
