TDM 2000 ODV CAGLIARI, Italy Volunteer opportunity: On the Path to Solidarity - SEEDS of Learning 2026
This project aims to create a volunteering team that will help with the execution of an international event that will raise awareness on digital human rights and democratic values among young people. The event will take place in Cagliari, Sardinia, in March 2026, and it will bring together young activists, youth leaders and youth workers from different countries in Europe to discuss youth work and youth policies and an opening and a closing moment involving all the participants. The volunteers will commit to their duties for 23 days to increase the value and the intercultural aspect of the event, and assist it with the planning, execution, and evaluation of the activities. They will also support internal and external communication, logistics, information outreach, participant engagement, and facilitation of targeted activities. Accommodation, food and transport arrangements The project, funded by European Commission's ESC, covers part of the travel costs (depending on the distance between the venue and the home country of the participant, following the rules of the programme), food, accommodation and, where relevant, local transports. The programme guarantees mentoring, a monthly pocket money and international medical insurance. Training during the activity The volunteers will receive on-spot training delivered by the coordinating organization on the following topics: Non-formal education; ESC and volunteering programs; Cultural diversity and intercultural learning; Conflict Management; Sardinian and Italian culture; Information about the project; Youthpass and learning; Task-related specific competencies. Participant profile Preferably aged 18-26 with exceptions possible; Able to speak English (Italian is a plus); Able to attend the full duration of the project of 25 days; Volunteer attitude related to the ESC program; Motivation to participate and make the difference; Ability to work with others in an intercultural environment; Flexibility; Willing to learn new things and share with others; An interest in intercultural communication and dialogue; Media-related skills are welcome; No special skills are required but everything additional is welcome; Applications done using AI will not be considered.
