The internship is in the Office of the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict to support the development and implementation of the office's communications strategy.
No working experience is required. Candidates with any relevant academic and/or practical experience, in particular in the area of communications, public information, journalism, would be an advantage.
Applicants must meet one of the following requirements: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school programme (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); or (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree programme (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent). Applicants must also be computer literate in standard software applications.
Languages Required: Fluency in English is required.
Languages Preferred: Knowledge of another official United Nations language is desirable.
Contract Duration: Three to Six Months

Remuneration: The internship is UNPAID. Costs and arrangements for travel, visas, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of interns or their sponsoring institutions.
