Overview

The intern will assist in event management documentation and design, as well as event logistics and operations management.

Tasks Summary

• Prepare and manage event-related documentation and content.
• Support in designing and developing event programmes and agendas.
• Explore and propose innovative approaches to event design.
• Document events and finalize event reports.
• Coordinate participant, speaker, and facilitator logistics.
• Support in planning, assessing, and finalizing logistical arrangements.
• Support on venue layout, promotional, and visibility materials coordination.
• Assist on briefing of volunteers’ tasks for the events.
• Serve as a focal point for day-to-day coordination among internal teams, partners, vendors, and volunteers.
• Support other/ad hoc activities as seen relevant and needed.
• Support in coordinating closely with UNDP teams, key partners, and service providers.

Experience Requirements

Qualification Requirements

• Currently in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree; or
• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree; or
• Have graduated no longer than 1 year from a bachelor’s or master’s degree or equivalent studies; Field of study: business administration, entrepreneurship, innovation studies, sustainable development, economics, international relations, public policy or equivalent.
• Knowledge and proficient user of Microsoft Office productivity tools.

Other Details

Languages Required: • Excellent command of English, both written and oral required

Languages Preferred: • Knowledge of other UN languages is an advantage.

Contract Duration: 6 months

Remuneration: • UNDP will not pay interns for internship but will provide a stipend in the amount of THB 8,302.50 monthly
