Overview

The HR Assistant will support the HR team in facilitating and coordinating administrative recruitment processes, initiating onboarding, and maintaining HR databases.

Tasks Summary
  • Facilitate and coordinate HR administrative recruitment processes in compliance with WHO rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Support recruitment of Fixed-Term and Temporary Staff, including pre-screening candidates.
  • Organize meetings with selection panels and ensure documentation completeness.
  • Support interview arrangements, scheduling, and online testing.
  • Assist applicants with information and support.
  • Maintain HR tables for tracking HR processes.
  • Initiate and follow up on onboarding processes.
  • Maintain and update internal HR databases and files confidentially.
  • Support consultants' clearance processes.
  • Cooperate with admin assistant for mailing list updates.
  • Perform online filing of HR documentation.
  • Perform any other duty as requested by HR managers.
Experience Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in HR or Administration.
  • Experience in the use of computers and office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experience in organizing and managing recruitment processes is an asset.
  • Experience in contract management, onboarding, and separation process is an asset.
  • Additional certification in HR-related matters is an asset.
  • Knowledge of UN regulations, rules, and procedures is an asset.
Qualification Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Management or any other relevant area

Languages Required: Ukrainian, Level: Fluent, Required English, Level: Fluent, Required

Languages Preferred:

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Work Modality: Onsite

Remuneration: • Volunteer Living Allowance (VLA): USD 1690 (equivalent in UAH) provided monthly. • USD 400 entry lump sum, one-time payment. • Medical and life insurance provided. • Annual leave: 2.5 days per completed month. • Learning leave: Up to ten working days per 12 months. • Certified Sick Leave: Up to 30 days per 12-month cycle. • Uncertified Sick Leave: Seven days per calendar year.
