Overview

The Reporting Officer supports reporting for Country Office activities, ensuring reports are based on accurate health data and evidence-based factual elements. The role facilitates timely technical reporting on awards received by the country office.

Tasks Summary
  • Review, develop and edit donor proposals and reports.
  • Act as a focal point for knowledge management for the Sudan Health Assistance and Response to Emergencies (SHARE) Project.
  • Support implementation missions, development of presentations, infographics materials related to the WCO flagship partnerships.
  • Support overall programme planning and implementation of the PMU.
  • Track actions related to the implementation of projects, ensuring key deliverables are monitored and deadlines are met.
  • Analyse project management processes and performance, identify challenges and risks.
  • In collaboration with the technical and communication teams, document success stories and the impact of delivered supplies and services on the quality of health of the affected population.
  • Other WCO-related tasks as deemed necessary by the responsible officer.
Experience Requirements
  • 7 years
  • Relevant experience 5 years
  • Previous experience supporting the coordination or administration of programmes, projects, or activities related to health and sustainable development.
  • Previous experience providing coordination and support functions in multi-stakeholder programmes or projects at the international, regional, or national level.
  • Previous experience supporting monitoring and evaluation processes, including capturing data, writing proposals, preparing reports, and contributing to learning.
  • Prior experience working with the United Nations.
Qualification Requirements

Master's degree in international relations, social sciences, public health, medicine.

Languages Required: English, Level: Fluent, Required

Languages Preferred: Arabic, Level: Fluent, Desirable

Contract Duration: 6 months (with possibility of extension)

Work Modality: Onsite

Remuneration: International UN Volunteers receive a volunteer living allowance to sustain a basic, adequate, and safe lifestyle. This allowance varies from one location to another depending on local living costs, but all International UN Volunteers experts in the same location receive the same allowance.
